Major Sponsors contribute to the Service in a variety of ways through in-kind support, donations of prizes for raffles and auctions, provision of venues for events, cash contributions and Helicopter Housie.
Australian Hotels Association (AHA) was established in its initial form in 1839. The AHA is an organisation of employers registered under the Workplace Relations Act 1996 and is recognised as the leading authority on hospitality and tourism issues with government, media and industry. Hotels in the Service's region provide support in many different ways including donation tin placement on premises as well as donation of prizes, venues and support for events.
ClubsNSW represents 90 per cent of the registered clubs in NSW (approx 1,400 clubs) providing a long list of services to its members. ClubsNSW supports the Service through hosting weekly Helicopter Housie sessions and annual donations from the Community Development Support Expenditure (CDSE) Scheme. Clubs that support the Service with Helicopter Housie sessions include: Adamstown RSL Club, Belmont 16ft Sailing Club, Cardiff Panthers, Club Macquarie, Club Singleton, Club Taree, Easts Leisure & Golf Club, Forster Bowling Club, Halekulani Bowling Club, Kahibah Bowling Club, Maitland City Bowling Club, Nelson Bay RSL Club, Port Macquarie Panthers, Wauchope RSL Club and West Tamworth League Club.
Drayton's Family Wines are one of the Hunter Valley's pioneering winemaking companies and it is one of the few companies that remains family owned and operated. In 1853 Joseph Drayton and son Frederick journeyed to Lochinvar and after several years moved to Pokolbin where Joseph acquired 80 acres of land. This was cleared and Joseph built the "Bellevue" homestead. In the late 1850's, Joseph turned from growing grain to plant his first vines in the rich virgin loam of "Bellevue". Drayton's Family Wines' support extends over many years and through many of the Service’s fundraising activities with the donation of wine and support.
Kelly Holden commenced operations at its Macquarie Road, Kelly Holden has become a multi award winning company achieving the ultimate sales and service excellence award, Holden Grand Master Dealer status for nine consecutive years. Kelly Holden is the Naming Rights Sponsor for the Hangar Fashion Event.
Martins Stock Haulage is based in Scone and its owner Gordon Martin has been in the livestock haulage business for 45 years. The Martin name appears on 67 trucks - 52 are used for stock haulage and 15 on bulk transport. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is a favourite charity with all 100-plus employees donating $2 a week from their pay to the Service's Payroll Deduction Scheme. This donation is then matched by the company. Martins Stock Haulage also donates funds to the Service through its annual charity golf day.
Safe 'n' SOUND Self Storage originated in Port Macquarie in 1999 with a state-of-the-art storage facility that set a new standard in security and design. The business has grown remarkably since first opening its doors. Safe 'n' SOUND Self Storage is now in two locations in Port Macquarie as well as in Kotara and Mayfield in Newcastle. Safe 'n' SOUND has provided free storage facilities for the Service's Engineering and Marketing Departments since 2005.
SNP Security opened for business as Sydney Night Patrol & Inquiry Co Pty Ltd in 1923 by the Roche family. SNP is the largest family owned security company in The 70’s saw a significant addition to SNP's capabilities. There was an urgent need for increased security at airports. SNP met the demand at
Tooheys support the Service through many events held throughout the Hunter, Mid North Coast, New England and North West regions. Tooheys beverages have been provided over many years to ensure that the Service capitalises on its fundraising opportunities. Tooheys are heavily involved in golf days at Newcastle and Tamworth, Ducks for Dollars with Hunter Branch Surf Clubs and a number of support group events throughout the region.
