The Future
The Service is planning to replace the Bell 412SP helicopter in 2010. At this time the machine will be 24 years old and getting toward the end of its useful work life. The cost of finding a suitable replacement at that time will be substantial, together with the additional costs of fit out for aeromedical retrieval.
