 Matthew Wallace (L.A.M.E)
Matt Wallace was born in Newcastle and attended Warners Bay High School. He completed an apprenticeship and 14 years service with Qantas at Mascot as an avionics engineer working on Boeing 707, 767 and 747 aircraft. While at Qantas, Matt was also a casual/contract engineer with Westpac Life Saver and Careflight Services in Sydney. He joined the Hunter Region Service in March 2005. Matt is married with two daughters and his interests include surfing, water skiing, snow boarding, football and tinkering at home.

Kieran Brown
Kieran Brown served his apprenticeship at Hawker de Havilland, Bankstown and has worked on Blackhawks and PC-9 aircraft manufacture. He has worked on helicopter maintenance in various places including New Guinea and Victoria River Downs in the Northern Territory. Kieran has also spent time in Guam working as a helicopter engineer / pilot on a fishing boat in the Pacific Ocean.His hobbies include hang gliding, flying ultra light aircraft and helicopters as well as competition aerobatics.

Shane Zoutendyk
Shane was raised in Wagga Wagga and served his apprenticeship with Kendell Aircraft in Wagga Wagga. He transitioned to Rex Airlines after the collapse of Ansett Airlines. Shane worked for Skytraders during the summer of 2004/05, 2005/06, 2006/07 in the Australian Antarctic Territory as an avionics engineer maintaining their 2 fixed wing aircraft. He commenced with the Hunter Region Service in the first week of June 2007 experiencing the June long weekend storms as his introduction to Newcastle. Shane enjoys playing hockey, sailing and riding his motor bike in his spare time.

Christine Barrett
Christine joined the Service in 2008 as Engineering Administrator. She was born and raised in Newcastle and attended Wallsend High School. She served 13 years in the Royal Australian Air Force as an Aircraft Engineer, working on C130 Hercules and FA-18 Hornets and cross trained in EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), Technical Spares Assessing and Maintenance Control. Christine is married with 1 daughter and in her spare time enjoys gardening, landscaping and renovating houses. She has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Newcastle.
