The Newcastle Jockey Club (NJC) was formed in 1901 following a meeting of racegoers and enthusiasts of the ‘Sport of Kings’.  Since then the NJC, also known as ‘Beautiful Broadmeadow’ has become one of the leading and most progressive racing clubs in Australia and rightly earned its place in the thoroughbred racing scene. 

The NJC is an Event Partner for the Service’s Annual Race Day and Hangar Fashion Event.
